Before Your Visit
Getting ready for Plexr Plus

We can’t wait to see you! These steps help your skin heal smoothly and give you the best possible results.
☀️1 to 2 weeks before
- •Avoid sun, tanning beds, and self-tanner for 2 weeks. Tanned skin can’t be treated safely.
- •Stop retinoids (Retin-A, retinol, tretinoin), glycolic or salicylic acids, and exfoliants 5 to 7 days before.
- •If your doctor approves, avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for 5 to 7 days. Don’t stop prescribed medication without your doctor’s approval.
- •Skip alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.
💬Let us know before your visit if you
- •Have a history of cold sores (we may recommend an antiviral).
- •Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- •Have an active skin infection, cold sore, or open wound in the treatment area.
- •Have a history of keloid scarring or slow wound healing.
🗓️Plan for downtime
- •Tiny dark crusts form on the treated skin and fall off on their own in about 5 to 10 days. Swelling is common, especially around the eyes.
- •Try not to schedule big events during the first 7 to 10 days.
📅On the day of your appointment
- •Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, lotion, or sunscreen on the treatment area.
- •We apply numbing cream before treatment, so please plan a little extra time.
