Thank you for choosing Aida Medical Aesthetics. Please read these instructions carefully before your Hylenex (Filler Dissolving) appointment — a little preparation helps you get the most beautiful, comfortable result.
Avoid Certain Medications
- ✓7 days prior to treatment: Avoid blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or other NSAIDs unless prescribed by your doctor. These can increase the risk of bruising.
- ✓3 days prior to treatment: Avoid supplements that can thin your blood, such as Vitamin E, fish oil, and Ginkgo Biloba.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine
- ✓4 hours before treatment: Avoid alcohol and caffeine, as these can also increase the risk of bruising.
Communicate Your Medical History
- ✓Inform your provider of allergies, medications, food, Bees, or previous adverse reactions to hyaluronidase or related products.
Arrive with a Clean Face
- ✓Avoid wearing makeup, lotions, or any skincare products in the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
Plan for Post-Treatment Care
- ✓Arrange for someone to drive you home if you experience discomfort or are advised to do so by your provider.
