• ✓DO NOT: touch, press, rub, or manipulate the implanted areas for the rest of the day after treatment. Avoid kissing, puckering, or sucking movements for at least 72 hours as these motor movements can undesirably displace the implanted dermal filler material. You can cause irritation, sores, and/or problems, and possible scarring if you do.
• ✓For cheek filler: try and sleep on your back for 72 hours.
• ✓No makeup or lipstick until the next day. If you can avoid makeup or lipstick for at least 72 hours post-treatment. Earlier use can cause infections and pustules. If you need to apply chapstick, it must be brand new and unused.
• ✓AVOID vigorous exercise and sun and heat exposure for 3 days after treatment.
• ✓You can expect some bruising and swelling around the areas that were injected. Applying ice may cause nodules, but if you need to apply ice, please apply it very gently for 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off.
• ✓One side may heal faster than the other.
• ✓You must wait at least 2 weeks before any enhancements.
• ✓Please report any blanching, white or duscky skin discoloration, extreme pain, redness, blisters, puss, or itching IMMEDIATELY if it occurs after treatment.

To reduce the incidence of bruising after these procedures

• ✓NO: Aspirin, Motrin, gingko biloba, garlic, flax oil, cod liver oil, vitamin A, vitamin E, fatty acids, at least 3 days after treatment
• ✓AVOID: Alcohol, caffeine, niacin supplements, high sodium foods, high sugar foods, refined carbohydrates, spicy foods, or cigarettes 48 hours after your treatment since that may increase Information.
• ✓We recommend Arnica tabs to be taken 24 hours before and after your procedure to help reduce bruising. You may find these at your local pharmacy or holistic health food store.
• ✓Avoid dental work, vaccines, surgeries, tattoos, or permanent makeup for 3 weeks after your filler appointment.
• ✓Please stay near town for the next 48 hours.
• ✓We recommend all initial consult patients make a 2-week follow-up appointment.
• ✓Discontinue Retin-A at least two days before and two days after treatment
